Any Womanizer users around? What am I doing wrong?!

To celebrate the return of my sex drive, I placed a hefty Lovehoney order which included one of the small Womanizers as I’d heard so much about them.

Used it for the first time last night and I’m a bit perplexed. It did take a while to get it properly located but I think I did in the end. It was very intense even on the lowest setting and I had a ridiculously fast orgasm but it really wasn’t enjoyable - a bit like having some bloke go at your clit like a belt sander, and the orgasm itself wasn’t at all satisfying.

Cumming really fast isn’t a positive IME - without the build up, it feels very blah (and we’d been at it for an hour and a half by then so it’s not like I wasn’t warmed up). The best sensations for me are before it happens when all the nerve endings in your lower body are on fire, and getting and staying close before I finish off is probably the best part of masturbation.

I got none of that fun stuff - I got it in position, was immediately thinking “fuck me, that feels good” and then within seconds it was all over but I still felt as frustrated as I had before hand. You can’t really stop and start because it’s a pain to get it located, and the noise it makes when you pull it away.

Is this just never going to work for me or is there an adjustment period?

I felt a bit like that when I tried one. I sent it back to Lovehoney for a refund Grin

I decided to try it again last night before deciding whether to return it.

This thing is bloody amazing! I was definitely too hasty in my concerns. The first orgasm was, again, too quick and not very satisfying - but I waited for that to subside and went again. The second was absolutely incredible - and messy, which has never happened to me before!

Later on I had another go, with my DH this time, and the same thing happened again (first orgasm was rapid - it takes less than a minute, second one was slower, incredible and caused crazy amounts of gushing shortly before the orgasm). I am stunned that happened without any g spot stimulation happening - I’ve heard that it can and I’ve gotten close to it happening before, but the urge to pee has always brought me out of it.

If anyone is considering one, I’d definitely recommend it but you may need to use it for a few days / a week to see if it’s for you. I very nearly abandoned it after one session which would have been a mistake. It’s just so different to any other sensation and that threw me off! It reminds me a bit of the first time I had an orgasm, I didn’t like it at all - it was so intense it almost hurt and made me feel queasy. I had the same thing here initially.

If you’re someone who struggles to orgasm or have never orgasmed at all, I would definitely try this.

Given that LH will swap any sex toys you don’t like within a month of purchase, I’d actually go for one of the clitoral suction toys that have patterns rather than the womaniser starlet which just has 3 or maybe 4 intensity settings. I don’t usually use patterns on toys so I didn’t think I’d want them, but actually I think this is a toy that needs patterns, especially when getting used to it, as even on the lowest setting it’s intense. I think having pauses would make it much more satisfying (you could of course just remove it but it makes quite an angry noise when you do - the more expensive womanisers only function when in contact with the skin so if you pull it away it switches off)

Might have to save up for one of the combined suction and g spot ones now!

Which do you work for? Love honey or womanizer?Hmm

EmptyOrchestra · 05/05/2019 08:48

ODFOD - look at my posting history, I’ve been using this username for a year, and posting under others for longer. I’ve never mentioned either this toy or lovehoney before that I can recall (maybe I’ve mentioned lovehoney in the past, given that’s where I buy sex stuff from, I don’t remember).

Are we so repressed that any woman talking about their sexuality in a positive way has to be a troll or trying to flog something? Is it really so hard to believe that a sex toy does the job it’s supposed to do? I mentioned the return policy because i didn’t know they did that until I looked into it this week, and had I known I might have risked buying the more expensive version.

This is legitimate - if I’d wanted to sell it I wouldn’t have been asking whether it was just me that found it shit, would I?

I first read about this toy here, well over a year ago, so I figured it would be a good place to ask.

I bloody love mine! I want the new one with the g spot stimulator too.

EmptyOrchestra · 06/05/2019 07:10

Yeah, I saw that one too - not sure I can justify £180 though! I’d also have to see if each part can operate independently when needed :D

I do wish I had bought the more expensive but in between model with patterns though - never thought I’d say that, hence why I didn’t bother!
