Lovingmy40s · 06/03/2019 16:05

So I told my DP I want us to buy a vibrator, he did mention it previously but only during sex, and we didnt really look into it, now we are both excited to get one or maybe 2 Grin
Any recommendations on what to buy? so many things out there....Lovehoney is very good, but I dont want to end up buying something we won't both enjoy and then put ourselves off!
Recommendations would be appreciated

LoveHoney has discussion boards and very comprehensive product descriptions and videos.

There is plenty to go at there. No need to start a thread to chat about sex toys here.

Not sure why there's no need to start a conversation here, I think sex toys are more than an acceptable addition to a relationship.
Ann summers is obviously a good starting point, and u can make a more fun experience with the parties and some friends and a bit of a girls night. Love honey is also a good one but without the shops and online only.
I would say you need to work out what's your 'thing' . Different woman have different earth movers, so to speak.
If clitoral stimulation is what makes your knees weak, then look for a wand. Of its penetration, then a dildo/vibrator. If both, then a rabbit. If you don't know, then a rabbit covers both bits so I can work it out.
There may be other criteria, does it matter how noisy it is, for example. If you're sharing your home( with kids or whatever), this matters.
If you have an Ann summers or something similar near you, just go and see what tickles your fancy ( pun intended).
Sex toys are not seedy or something shameful, we have way passed the era when sex was just a method of reproduction and the woman is not allowed enjoyment. The fantastic time we leave in means we are just as entitled to enjoy it as anyone, so good luck and enjoy experimenting !

Rampant rabbit
I've had almost every model usually have one on the go (a classic, aqua, or Mr Big) and a couple of smaller vibes of different sizes.

I love lovehoney for the discreet packaging! Both them and Ann Summers often have great deals on.

The cordless wand is what you need, expensive but worth every penny

Shouldn't this be in the sex topic?

Love honey are brilliant for product descriptions, reviews and discreet packaging.
(Also good quality but generally cheaper than Ann Summers!)

One would think so but as this appears to be the OP’s first post they may not be able to post there. Hmm

Are you so easily offended it needs to be in a different topic?!

I'm not "offended", but there's a reason there's a sex topic and why it's not open to first time posters.

Bondara are ok as well. Definitely a rabbit or a wand!

baileys6904 thanks for the advice it is really useful. Thanks to all of you ladies
I thought this is something to be discussed with real women..and men!
But I will check the rabbits..although I don't want something complicated..

Go though a cash back site like quidco for love honey.

Maybe next time join a site and discuss current affairs and neighbour disputes for a bit before asking everyone for their sex toy anecdotes? It could look a little forward.

If some of you are offended 😒 then don't open the thread. The OP's thread title was pretty self-explanatory!

No one’s ‘offended’, just pointing out the tiresome regularity of new posters who have apparently joined Mn purely in order to get women to talk about sex toys.

My first post was to reply to something inocuous in chat

Not just straight into asking folk about how they like their clitoris to be stimulated

Well have been here years and never known there was a sex topic. It is well hidden.

The sex topic us not "well hidden"

If you are a "new" poster you cannot contribute. For obvious reasons. Nothing to stop you using another topic to get women sharing their orgasm tips though.

The sex topic is exactly where you would expect it to be, under ‘Body and Soul’.
