Dressing up for bf for the first time

What should I go for? When we’ve DTD so far I’ve just been in my ‘normal’ underwear but I definitely want to treat him to me being a bit sexier and surprise him over Christmas. We’ve not discussed what he likes in that area, I was considering doing the stocking and suspenders thing with a lacy bra, but wondering if this is too much, or do basically all men find this a turn on? I’m not the most confident of women when it comes to sex so I’m just planning on getting into bed dressed up and letting him find me like that... this is ok right?

I haven't found/heard of many men that don't like the bra and suspenders....and that's from a straw poll at a rather wine fuelled Xmas party!

If first time you need to focus on making yourself feel as comfy as possible to boost confidence, so make sure whatever you buy feels comfortable. An option is if you are going out to wear it under your dress and give him hints through the night. However, if you want to surprise him in bed, I have done stocking/suspenders or occasionally holdups (but my husband loves suspenders) but make sure your knix are over the straps so you can easily remove.

Consider a 1/4 or half cup bra. I like a thing or basque and if really brave open fronted. I'm sure he will be in heaven. If I'm planning something like it, if I've been to the beauticians before and got waxed etc which works really well with open front knix.

My partner likes me to dress up and although I must admit I look good when I do, I feel awkward as HELL..... but I find, bra and knickers or a basque and some hold ups are a winner. (I find suspenders difficult to get out of 😂) My partner also likes me in heels.... red is a good colour. LoveHoney do a good range if you want to look for inspiration. Asda and Primark do brilliant hold ups..... I also go an amazing body suit (very low cut, down to my belly button and poppers between the legs for easy access) from primark.... it was a brilliant find. Ann summers range is nice, but if it's just for the bedroom and won't be in long, I find them a bit pricey. We only do the dressing up thing once in a while to make it special.

Dressing up sexy is the easy bit, it's the other little things you've got to remember so it doesn't mess up like shaving your legs, brushing your teeth and making sure you didn't leave a panty liner there or tampon in. Easy to forget! Good luck.

Being sexy simply means finding out what your partner likes and (within reason!) giving it to them.

If you do suspenders put knickers if you wear any over the top of suspenders that way you can whip rhem off and leave stockings on if you want 👍

I will definitely go for the getting changed into it idea and hopping into bed and getting to either feel under the covers or reveal me. Hopefully after the first time my confidence will grow and I can do the wearing it under a coat/walking in in heels idea... I’ve neen online and ordered some things from Ann Summers, yeah it was pricey but it’ll be worth it and I’m more familiar with their products so for a special Christmas treat i thought why not! I know what colour underwear he’s thought of me in before, so I went for that - got a matching bra, Brazilian knickers, suspender belt and stockings. I always have a full wax of everything down below and that will have been done again next week, hoping my order comes before next weekend
