Panicking!

Just got a bit frisky and didn't use any protection I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating right now and of course will get the morning after pill but I'm terrified it won't work!
Wide awake panicking now, please tell me it'll be ok!
I'm definitely old enough to know better but we got carried away.
Any stories of it not working please tell me!

The morning after does work hun. My DP and I had unprotected sex in the summer after a night out and there were no issues once I took the pill.

It definitely wont work if you don't take it. Please get yourself sorted asap.

Good luck! I'm more interested in how to get so frisky that paranoia over getting pregnancy doesn't come to mind, I'm clearly doing it wrong

I don't want to make you feel bad but I got pregnant on it. I would ensure you test when period is due

This was me about 2 months ago. As soon as we'd had sex I worked out I was ovulating and crapped myself as morning after pill doesn't work if you've just ovulated as it works by delaying ovulation. Took it and then hoped for the best, convinced myself I was pregnant and did about 8 cheapo pregnancy tests from a week before I was due. Thankfully I came on early so that put me out my misery. Never been so happy to have my period.

Good luck op I hope you got your dates muddled and you're fine. Unfortunately it's a waiting game for a short while and you will detect every early pregnancy symptom no doubt just as I did.

If you haven't come on to a proper period within 3 weeks do a test.
