Bags of sexy lingerie

user3412891278 · 08/08/2018 15:03

Have NC'ed for this.

I have two big bags full of sexy (very expensive) lingerie from my 20s that I clearly can't fit into any more. I can't give it away as it's, well, awkward to ask around. I don't want to sell on eBay as I am an active seller there. I cannot find any charities that will take lingerie.
Do any wise MNers have any idea what to do with these?

Keep them for dusters then :)

Our local firefighters have a clothes bin that takes underwear. All money raised goes to firefighters charity

user3412891278 · 08/08/2018 22:05

I checked out the firefighters' charity and they do take underwear etc.
But I noticed they sell them for "weight". It's quite expensive items (£30-50 for individual items), completely unworn, and such a shame I can't find a better way to donate though! Maybe I am finding excuses and should just bin them :)

Why can't you sell them on eBay? Are you a business seller? Could you open a separate account?

user3412891278 · 08/08/2018 22:25

I am a power seller and yes, a lot of the customers look at the selling history. Maybe a different account is a good idea and can delete it later if it attracts any trolls/perverts

Can you donate them to a local women’s refuge?

PixieMiss · 09/08/2018 19:20

What size are we talking?

BatshitCrazyWoman · 09/08/2018 19:34

Those clothes recycling bins you see around the place will take anything fabric that's clean. If not saleable it's recycled. If it was me I'd put them in one of those.

@PixieMiss around 10-12

If they are unworn with tags then most charity shops will take them. (You won't see them on the hangers because the volunteers get first pick.) Just put them at the bottom of the bag with some everyday clothing on top when you go in.

If you still have the items I would love to take them,my DP is into stockings ect and I would love e to dress up for him but am on such a low income I can't buy any for the foreseeable future

Kennycalmit · 13/10/2018 14:33

I’d sell them on eBay

There’s plenty men out there who’d pay all sorts for that underwear Grin

Bellends · 14/10/2018 21:43

See I create a separate account....I had a guy asking If I could wear one of my bought but not worn bras....whilst arousing myself...abd then he'd buyit.
I was tempted as he offered £100????? Actually there maybe a market!!

Bellends · 14/10/2018 21:43

See, I'd, not I

whyispeppainthenightgarden · 18/10/2018 22:33
