Bleeding after orgasm

Last time I had sex was October, 3 days away and a lot of it. When my lover had gone I started bleeding and it lasted about 2 weeks. Then I started bleeding on Christmas eve and it's been off and on since then. Haven't had sex since Oct but have cum alone etc and every morning after it happens there is blood.

I got the implant in March last year so don't know if that's related? Periods had pretty much vanished after getting it, so not sure if this is the backlog so to speak. Waiting for Dr's appt to come up but anyone been through similar or any advice please? Thanks xx

Hi OP. STI's such as Chlamydia can cause bleeding after intercourse, so definitely get checked out, also to rule out any other potential gynae problems. Good luck x

Reading yo post, I started thinking of asking if u use any family planning method, then saw "implant". As much as I don't know abt bleeding after intercourse or after an orgasm. I had an injection and bled on and off for almost a year until I got treatment that sorted it, but I never bled after intercourse. See yo GP abt it.

Definitely see your GP.

Thanks, saw GP and she's given me a course of Utovlan to stop the bleeding. 10 day course and she said it should get rid of it completely, never to return again?? We'll see, nothing so far anyway. Also said likely anaemic and going back for blood tests soon. xx

I agree with seeing your GP but also
Does your guy have a long penis which bumps against your cervix during sex? If so, you may get some bleeding after, but I'd only expect it to last 2 days max.
Does your guy have a very girthy penis which was painful to get in, and did bleeding start immediately after penetrative sex? If so that may be a tear and you'll need to lay off penetrative sex (including fingers and dildos) for at least 2 weeks.

X-post, did your GP give you a physical exam?

When was your last smear test?

Ay chance you have friable tissue? I used to bleed due to this. Silver nitrate treatment stopped it.
