Last night I shared a bed with a guy I've known for years. I've always thought he fancied me, and I invited him to share my bed (we are away on a group holiday).

So we'd been cuddling and kissing for about 10-15 minutes. I reached down and felt his cock, but he wasn't hard.

Is that normal? We are early 40s. We were all quite hungover that morning... could that affect things? I sort of expected he'd have a semi, but I haven't had much sex for quite a while now so maybe I'm basing my expectations on younger men?

Or did he just not fancy me :(

Yes it’s quite normal especially when you are over 40. It’s very unlikely to mean he doesn’t fancy you.

cherrycola2004 · 04/01/2018 07:55

Yep normal over 40s
One of those things. Conditions have to be just right Grin

I'm 40 and have the biggest horn when I wake up hungover.

LemonLimerance · 04/01/2018 15:32

Joey fair enough!

My post was a bit badly written. We were all hungover on Tuesday morning and it was Tuesday evening that we slept in the same bed.

I should have timed things better and crept into his room in the morning instead, clearly!

In the words of Kurt Russel from the film Tombstone.

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smokewagon and see what happens.

That’s what I would do! Lol.

And then given a big wet kiss and said now blow my brains out big boy.

BoobleMcB · 06/01/2018 23:39

But did it get hard? That's the main thing surely?

NotTheFordType · 07/01/2018 19:32

Some guys simply don't get hard until they get some physical contact directly on their cock. And this is more likely as they get older.

Some guys get hard just walking into a room and looking at you fully clothed.

Both of these are normal and are no reflection on you.

If he was sharing a bed with you then it's a pretty safe bet he's interested :)

LemonLimerance · 07/01/2018 20:02

BoobleMcB we didn't proceed to anything further - I wanted to sleep with him, as in actually sleep, but not have sex. He complied!

It was lovely though, hoping for a repeat performance at some point!

Thanks Ford I sound about 16 years old don't I! Haha.

Depends on the guy...... My DH has to get himself hard, always has!

BoobleMcB · 08/01/2018 09:53

Why would you reach for his cock etc if you didn't want to go further Confused

LemonLimerance · 08/01/2018 19:25

booble because I was curious about his body and was enjoying touching him and being touched, but didn’t want to have sex or give him a hand job or blow job.
I was fairly upfront about that with him.
I did wonder vaguely about if I was being unfair, and asked him. He said he wanted to be there.

Depends on the guy.

Sometimes they try really hard Grinnot to get hard because they fear premature ejaculation or risk offending you.
