Ovulation

Hi wanted to see what your thoughts are on this. I took a opk test on 15th July (second pic) I wasn't sure if I got positive but I took it as positive and tried to conceive during that time I have now taken another opk test and it has come like this (first pic) please tell me if these are positive or negative? I am due for period from tomo and I have egg white CM and abit stretchy and I had this before during the 15th.

The first picture looks like a positive. The test line should be as dark as or darker than the control line for it to be positive.

Could you be pregnant then? I've heard pregnancy can cause positive OPK...

I did a pregnancy test with those cheap ones like the opks unless I should be doing the test with like first response or clear blue ???

It was negative btw

The cheap ones are pretty good for early detection.

Yeah it looks positive to me. Unless you are having a very late ovulation.

I think I am plus I have been on metformin for pcos and doubled the dose twice a day mayb that's why I'm having a late ovulation...? @juneybean

Both look negative to me. The second (showing your hand) is definitely negative, not sure why you took that as positive?

I suffer from pcos and got advised not to use these. They are so innaccurate for us. But bloody addictive 😩

@woodwaj yes they are soo addictive! Iv given up now jus gna try every other day messes with the head aswell! I did it advised aswell but cudnt help it

I ended up on norethisterone and clomid and my little nutter is now 2 and a half. Annoyingly i am now more regular than i have ever been! Took us almost 2 years of ttc. We just went with every other day in the end!!

@woodwaj how did you find the clomid? I herd that's really strong and not everyone can take it.

Fine just a few hot sweats!! Once it kick started my ovulation after 3 months i ovulated naturally! You only usually get put on it for a max 6 months though if i remember rightly
