Babymaking sex

We're ttc. Yesterday we had sex and immediately I thought 'that's it, this was the time that's going to make our next baby'.

Through 8 years of ttc I've never had that thought and it just sprung up spontaneously in my mind.

I'm fully aware that it's totally impossible for there to be anything in it. But indulge me. Has anyone ever had the same thought and subsequently found out that they DID make a baby when they thought they had?

Yes every time and I've been pregnant several times.

sometimes you just know. So happy for you, thanks for the update.

My mum did. She had half an ovary left, a damaged fallopian tube and a desperation for a girl.. one night after sex she wouldn't climb off him and just stayed there and said "that's our girl".. and it was!

There probably is a biological reason for the 'knowing', something to do with all the conditions being right or something. I think a lot of woo stuff like this has a grounding in biological fact. Like when you get the chills around a person, or get drawn to someone.

Yes definitely. I remember feeling and thinking that was it and I told my husband. He was doubtful and voila! I am pregnant!
