Ejaculation questions

Apologises if TMI but wanted to find out if anyone else has had this.
When my partner ejaculates inside of me, there seems to be a lot of it then drips comes out. It feels as if it all comes straight back out!
We are talking about having a baby and I wanted to know if this would be a potential problem and if this was normal.

Normal. There will be enough swimmers to get to their destination.

TheNaze73 · 06/06/2017 10:04

Typically they'll be millions of sperm ejaculated, when he cums.
The amount of semen that comes with it (no pun intended) can depend on a number of things. If he's not blown his beans for a couple of days, they'll typically be a lot say compared to round 3 of a sesh. Unless there are medical conditions attached to his sperm count, I'd think you have little to worry about.

When you're ovulating you produce more slimy discharge. This helps the sperm get to where it needs to go. Lots will always fall out though. When I was really desperate to get pregnant after trying for a long time I used to do a headstand to help things in the right diresction. Not sure it helps much though Grin

When my wife and I were trying for children, we would do missionary position and then when I'd finished, she'd stay lying down with a pillow under her bum to keep everything tilted-back and the maximum sperm inside and around the cervix for a good 20 minutes afterwards.

MusicToMyEars800 · 06/06/2017 10:42

It's completely normal Smile

justtheonethen · 06/06/2017 11:00

Totally normal. Totally unnecessary to perform handstands/lie on pillows. The good sperm will be on their way before he pulls out!

ShelaghTurner · 06/06/2017 11:03

I've never understood that. It's a bit of a design fault isn't it?

DevilMakesWork · 06/06/2017 19:25

for...hours...afterwards. Annoying.

Voice0fReason · 06/06/2017 19:49

It's completely normal and there is absolutely no need to prop your bum up afterwards if you are TTC.

TDHManchester · 12/06/2017 07:19

Normal..

AceholeRimmer · 12/06/2017 08:29

It's normal! I also did the 'pelvis pointing at the ceiling' thing afterwards so less fell out, I saw it on peep show GrinI got pregnant the first time but this may or may have not helped..

barrygetamoveonplease · 12/06/2017 08:31

I am the result of a one-shot pillow-under-your-bum event which took place on 14 February 1957, so I can vouch for that method.

My mother was a great one for over-sharing. Grin

barry I bet you love family gatherings and that story Grin

OP the liquid carrying the sperm does start to liquefy more after ejaculation, which is why it can get a bit more runny.

But the good sperm only need about 5 minutes to get where they need to. Especially if ejaculation is around the cervix.

The vagina is normally naturally sloping to help this too.
