What is normal discharge?

Fairly gross but need advise.....

Having suffered thrush for nearly a year - finally saw a helpful GP who nailed it with a two week course of Itraconazole. Partner all creamed up too!

The thing is once I d finished the course, she asked if it was clear - I said I thought so - no itch, smell or lumps but there was still white discharge.

She said 'like normal discharge?'

And I realised I have no idea what is normal after battling thrush for so long!

She said see how you go?

So it's four weeks on and I m still unsure what is going on......

So what is normal.......????

I don't think there's a clear answer on this depending on time of cycle or time or life and contraception is there?

Mine used to be clear and very thin like egg white when I was younger.

After the coil insertion and in mid 40's it is definitely milkier and of a thicker consistency than it used to be. Confused

I guess as long as it isn't strong smelling, itchy, and more textured (for want of a better description) then it should be ok.

Can't she take a look and tell you? She must have seen all kinds of normal discharge?

Depending on time of month, generally very little discharge and if do its very thin but when ovulating it's like egg white. I think generally unless it's changed or smells etc. It's OK

I range from none at all to thin watery discharge unless I'm ovulating, then it's thick and tacky and white. I've found thrush discharge to smell offensively and be thick and lumpy. If you have no other symptoms, I'd try and accept it as your new normal and see what happens.
