Sex whilst on period

What are your experiences with this? Do men mind or not? My husband and I have never had sex whilst I'm 'properly' on but I don't know if that's unusual. And if people don't have sex when it's that time of the month because it's the woman who doesn't like it, or the man, or do women assume men don't like it?

This is an interesting thread! Until about a month ago I had never even considered it, I have heavy periods and it would really gross me out. None of my partners have ever suggested or hinted at it! Last week one of my close friends casually mentioned she's done it with a new partner without warning him and he really freaked out, she thought that was strange as it never bothered her ex who she was with for years and years since a teen. I was really shocked that she was so casual about it! Now me and oh are ttc and I'm having really short cycles with long periods so I'm in my fertile window during the end bit of my period and don't know how to bring it up or if I could even do it! I'm so squeamish and go a bit funny even when changing my own tampons and see any blood :/

No, but only because my periods are like a scene from Carrie. (I'm under Gyn care because they are crazy!) we did try once or twice, but both times the orgasm and cramps caused my uterus to contract and what can only be described as a tidal wave of blood came out.
The second time it was so bad we binned the mattress!

God no, the pain is bad enough as it is.

DP doesn't mind it at all and would continue to have sex all the way through my period if he could.

I personally don't have sex when I'm in full flow but very occasionally have sex at the tail end of my period.

It's the thought of DP having to wipe my period blood off his knob that puts me off. It doesn't bother him but It (needlessly!) makes me feel embarrassed.

It's never bothered me tbh and I've had plenty of partners who didn't mind making love when they were on their period.

SAGGYNAGGY in the biker community red wings refers to oral sex with a woman on her period not just sex.
Other variations include brown wings, black wings and death wings but that's another story !!!!!
