Sex starved

Just wondering what other people do about absence of sex. I've been single for a long time and miss affection, physical contact and actual sex - I'm starting to feel like a social pariah.

I'm not so much looking for practical advice (yes, I own a vibrator and I know there are a zillion websites for people looking for hook-ups...), more moral support and ideas of how people manage the psychological effects of being long-term single.

Help!

How you manage the psychological effects of being long-term single depends very much on your circumstances. Are you single by choice?

I miss sex as much as companionship when I've been single. I found a FWB arrangement worked for us both. It feels like everyone is having copious amounts of great sex, when you're single. Do feel for you OP

No, I'm not single by choice. (Thought that would have been obvious from my OP!)

I've done FWB before, but no one on the scene at the moment apart from married men. I don't necessarily need copious amounts of sex, but more than annually would be nice. Blush

(To clarify, I've had offers from married men, but I'm not having an affair.)

Supermarkets.

Seriously.

7pm, Friday or Saturday night, and check out the other obvious singles just grabbing something to eat and a bottle of wine... ask a guy for wine advice. Get yourself picked up. Honestly, I've this tactic to great effect. Well, I didn't actually ask a bloke for wine advice, I asked a lady for cooking advice as I don't go for blokes. :)
