Over too soon

My H and I seem to have a problem in the bedroom which is making me feel sad. We have been married for a number years and everything used to be quite normal until a year or so ago when H (50) started to climax too early. It has gradually got worse an dworse and is like an elephant in the room now. Normally, PIV is over within 4-12 thrusts. I thought it tended to be the opposite problem for middle aged men so no idea what has brought this on. He has tried delayed sprays and I Think some medication but there has been no improvement. Does anyone have any experience/thoughts? Can it get better? I know PIV is not everything but I do miss it. :-(

Have you tried him coming first, and then going for a second round with PIV working on the scenario of it takes longer the second time around.

To be honest, no we haven't. I think the mood is often killed by disappointment/frustration. I guess we need to look past that. Communication between us isn't great which makes it harder too.
