Rimming and being clean

I have never tried it before but I am somewhat curious about the activity. If you're receiving, is it enough to just take a hot shower beforehand to avoid any mishaps or would I (or DP) need to use an enema? I've looked them up and have to say I don't fancy using one.

I think just a soapy hot thorough wash will be fine, tongue doesn't go all the way in anyway I find.

Quick wash is enough. I found I soon forgot my inhibitions when I saw the reaction it got!

Just give yourself a thorough scrub with some carbolic soap.

I just wash with soap, and dip a finger in to make sure I'm clean! Easy....

Soapy finger up the bum during shower time should do it but if you want the reassurance of being completely empty, an anal douche will do the trick. Lovehoney sell them. Very easy to use, not like an enema.

If you're not doing anal insertion with a dick or a toy, just a finger will be more than enough. Anything more than a finger or a tongue, and I recommend douching.
