Steel boned corsets

Yay, we have a sex board now! How did I miss this??

Anyway, I love a good steel boned corset - they feel so nice once on, kind of takes your breath away, but in a good way. But they can be really pricey - I wanted to share Honour's corsets with y'all, in case someone fancies one.

I have the sweetheart corset in black pinstripe and its very well made, sturdy and high quality - nothing flimsy or cheap about it. Happy lacing!

I totally disagree, I have two honour corsets and bought various catsuits over the years. They were passable quality 10 years ago, but the things I've ordered more recently (replacements of the same items) are significantly poorer in comparison, and I have the old items to compare directly. I also used to use Westward Bound happily, but they've gone the same way! Everyone seems to be having them made in India.

If anyone does know of any genuine spiral steel boned corsets that do lace tightly to give a nice shape under £150 ish I would be interested to hear, but I have tried all the usual suspects and had some very poor excuses for corsets.

Oh no, really? Mine is a few years old, it sounds like their quality has gone downhill. What a shame, they were my go-to!

Where have you tried Suntzu?

NumanoidNancy · 27/07/2015 19:17

I have a really nice soft kid leather, steel boned corset from
Leathererotics.

WhatKatyDid were good four years ago, though I've not tried them since. Steel bones, sturdy, and they do a new range that are tighter around the waist now.

I've always been put off corsets in the fear that my saggy baby belly would hang out underneath like a room temperature ripe Camembert Hmm

PotOfYoghurt · 13/08/2015 13:26

Well there goes the dinner of baked Camembert I had planned...

I daren't wear them now I have a prolapse. I think the attractiveness is countered by my insides escaping Confused

I really want to make one of my own. I have a pattern and material, but not brave enough to do it. Sad

I've not ventured into making my own clothes yet, just some dress up stuff for DS.
