Been seeing a guy for a couple of months and it's going well. This weekend we actually get a rare day when we're both child free. We've been talking a lot in the week about what works for us sexually as we're just beginning that side of things; and he told me he was planning to spend all of tomorrow in bed, which I was more than agreeable with

So what do I get today? My period I know it doesn't rule out all sexual activity but it does limit what I'm comfortable with. I'm gutted!

Feeling your pain OP. Last year DH and I had a rare child free night away in a hotel and my period arrived (early!) the day before. Gutted!

I know the feeling , been OLD for a while, have been dating on and off, I always try and time my period so I have it Monday to Friday ( I'm on the pill ) but this month i didn't come on until wed, am bleeding very heavily so no chance of any fun this weekend. Think I'm going to spend tomorrow ( my child free day ) in bed sulking. Wish I could find something to stop my periods completely

Mirena cool does stop periods but it sent me crazy - wild mood swings, depression and the libido vanished altogether. I honestly thought I was losing my mind!
