I posted this on local bristol too...
Just wondered if anyone has info on Cotham school?
Some kind folk on the local Bristol thread seem to be saying it's fine etc. But just wondered if anyone else had any thoughts/experience?
Thanks!

Cotham is a great school.

Thanks for all of this. Nice to hear good things.
I just re-read the ofsted and remembered why I'm not sure... it says that the catchment was reoranised and changed the profile of the school's intake considerably. But they don't say in what way at all - I wish they would say what they actually mean!
Does anyone know how it changed?

From what I've heard, I think the intake has got more middle-class in the last few years, as the catchment area now covers all of Clifton/Cliftonwood, whereas before some Clifton kids got sent down the hill to Ashton Park. It must have lost some of Redland (because of Redland Green), but I think it may also have dropped some other less well-off areas - it's still a fairly diverse school though.
