Good. You need to watch teachers a work and spot good teaching. You'll notice how the same classes, can act very differently, depending on what teacher they have in front of them.

I find the final term hard work tbh. Teachers are getting tired and students are getting hyped up for the holidays, so if you can hack it in this term, you'll be fine come September.

One of the bonuses is that you'll have plenty of knowledge of the school by September and the Yr7's will think you've been there forever, so you shouldn't come up with any resistance from them! Some of the older years, may try it on with you. Although, I am at a very tough school, so that may not be the case with yours.

I find students still refer to me as a 'sub' or 'supply' at times. I simply tell them, 'I am a permanent member of staff and so anything you do today, I will still be here tomorrow and the next day, to catch up with you!'

I'm really excited for you! It is fabulously rewarding!

That is reassuring. The number of people I've told in the junior school who have winced and told me how brave I is enough to scare off anyone! Fortunately, when I am determined nothing puts me off. I think it is going to be an ace job!
