I have except for the blazer, and the trousers which I can order from Next.
There was NO ONE in the uniform shop- bliss- I had to pick up some replacement bits for dd.

Sounds a bit risky! DS put on 5 inches in six months at that age.

deaddei · 07/04/2010 12:28

That's why I'm leaving blazer/trousers till later. I got all the pe kit/ties etc- I know it's such a bun fight in the summer. I wish ds would grow- he looks about 8!!

No!

Hadn't even thought about it.

I was sent an order form just for the rugby kit in March, I have to fill it in and send it off with the cash before the end of April. I won't bother getting anything else yet.

Start saving now!!!
Actually, ds's uniform is very reasonable- nothing like the £500 grammar uniform he could have been wearing
We seem to be on the threads ruby!

I'm expecting ds's to be about £500 so I shall be buying extra big clothes!

OrmRenewed · 07/04/2010 12:41

Blazer about 25, fabric badge a fiver, 2 pairs of black trousers about 16, 3 white shirts about a tenner, rugby shirt 18 IIRC, white shorts and t-shirt not very much. So I think we get off lightly. Oh not to forget a craft apron which costs 4.99

LynetteScavo · 07/04/2010 12:43

Oh I'm itching to, but haven't yet.

I'm planing on buying about 25 ties, as I expect DS to loose them quite often.

No! ds1 just keeps growing and growing. If we bought uniform now it might not fit in September.

Boobaddum · 07/04/2010 15:52

I would like to start soon but I was reading some of the school's old newsletters and on one they've mentioned that they plan to review the uniform when they move into their lovely new building (which is May half term) so need to wait and see what happens

busymummy3 · 07/04/2010 23:02

think we will have to wait for first new parents evening then will buy uniform. DD1 is in Y8 and I remember buying hers in first week of summer holidays. glad we did as one of the things removed from uniform list was the tie
