Christs Hospital or Hockerill? Have to decide NOW

Have to choose between these 2 schools TODAY!!!!!
Dh and I up all night worrying which is really stupid as both excellent. Is Hockerill as brash as it seems? Is there room there for DS who is more trad (English, history, drama type)? Is Christs Hospital as trad as it seems? Is it more progressive/exciting than it seems on the surface? Both have comparatively new heads.
Have posted similarly before, but today is crunch time as have to accept or decline Hockerill by Monday.

I thought Hockerill was quite trad apart from the languages stuff.

Not familiar with Christ's, but I believe all pupils are boarders. At Hockerill only about a third board, and full boarders are quite a small group. I think this could be an important consideration if you are looking for full boarding.

I would not call it "brash", in fact I would say it is quite traditional - reminds me of a grammar school in some ways. Definitely has high academic expectations - even lower sets seem to work at a high standard.
