Hi Mners,

Any thoughts on this school anyone?

BTW I know it is not particularly academic but how is the pastoral care, bullying incidents etc.

Knew a couple of people who worked there (not teaching staff), and they always spoke well of it and its students. Relatively small, if memory serves.

Why do you ask?

Mimiso · 11/03/2010 22:29

Bark- Thanks for that. I am thinking of putting my DS's name on the waiting list

Not a problem. I'd say do it. Another one nearby you might consider is ABT.

Which did you get? Are you outside Lambeth?

Mimiso · 12/03/2010 18:15

BarkIsWilling - I am outside Lambeth and chose LNS due to its proximity to my workplace. Want to keep a close eye on my DS. LNS didnt get a good OFSTED this year, only got satisfactory so a bit disappointed with that. Have heard of ABT but didnt put it down, I had also chosen the new school in Tulse hill. Is ABT good?

Don't know much about the parent-power school -if that's the one you mean.

ABT was also spoken well of by my friend. The boys were well behaved and parents were encouraged to take an interest in their choices.

Good luck!

sorry to ne ignorant but what is ABT?
