QE boys versus Habs

Hi, I am in the lucky position to have the choice at 11+ between Habs and QE boys. Are there any mums here who have had a son at Habs prep who went to QE boys? Would love to hear your experience. Also, anyone at QE who has left for Habs?

I have a friend whose DS was offered places at Habs and QE this time last year.After much deliberation she picked Habs over QE. The reasons being the reports of excellent pastoral care, exceptional teachers and fabulous range of extra-curricular activities. Her DS is in year 8 now and extremely happy, and is reassured that she has made the right choice. Good luck with it all!

MamaTaxi- same position as you; am choosing Habs over Watford Grammar (QE was second choice for state school). I will as though I am about to piss money away. DS really wants Habs and I must admit that it is his thing. SLightly shorter commute to Habs
