for his set!

Which for some reason made me think of Harry Hill's knitted character of the week!

Very pleased with him. He isn't in the top set - about the third of 7 so not a high flier but am still very pleased. He's working at a low level 6.

Well done Orm Minor. Yes, I found myself internally singing the thread title a la Harry Hill.

Well done him! That's fantastic.

Thanks everyone

Pixie - he is in yr8 so I think he's sort of on target rather than above?

Well, targets are individual - it depends where you start off as to what your target should be.

L5 by the end of yr9 is considered the 'minimum standard' for NT students by the government, not the 'average' Pixie. I work in a low-attaining school in levels of high deprivation and we still get a very high percentage of students to L5 by the end of yr9.

But I agree L6 in yr8 is still good Orm, and certainly 'above average'.
