Moving from Scottish to English School

Hi, was wondering if anyone could advise. My daughter turns 13 on Friday and we are moving to South Devon with my husband's job. She is currently in 1st year at high school which i think is Year 8. Can anyone advise if this is the year she will enter into. Also my son is 4 in November - when will he start Primary School?

Yes, your DD should be in Year 8.

I agree, your daughter would be in year 8 in England. Though that is the second year of secondary school here. Your son I think will start school in Sept 2011 (the year in which he turns 5).
