a tutor for 11+ exam?

I have been told i need a tutor for my son to get himm throught he 11 plus, which we have agreed that he is goign to do. How do I find a good one? cna anyone help please? I am in east london ( walthamstow)

best way is through recommendation. Try some of the parents at your ds' school who have children in Year 6 and have been through the process already.

This company come highly recommended Fleet Tutors though sadly I couldnt get my DCs in with them.

We have approached one of the teachers at DD's school and asked if we can pay them privately for an hour at the weekend, they are grateful for the money and we get one to one tuition that is targetted at her, rather than what the tutor thinks they need to learn.

thats a good Idea- I've asked some year 6 paretns, but its tricky as I work almost full time and have litle or no school gate contact with other paretns - i find this very difficult sometimes
