Hi, under Article 26 of the Declaration of Human Rights Act, it states that parents have a right to "parents can choose the kind of education their children shall receive" (sorry, isn't word for word) - does that mean home educated or school educated or am I being dense!! Many thanks.

Are you asking "Is it school or education that is compulsory"? If so, it is education that is compulsory, not school.

So you can educate your dc within school system or home, but you must educate them.

Yes, thanks hbfac, realise you must education your children, just wanted to know if this particular article subheading means that you can choose whether it's your right to education them at home or school. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
