"Seemed a bit like a rugby club with a school attached tbh!"

What's wrong with that!?
We were up there on Saturday (DS's team beat them). I didn't see much of the place but I loved a motto they had up in the entrance hall- something along the lines of:
a good boarding school is a cross between an educational establishment, an extended family and a small nation.

ROFL.

The brother of a friend of DD goes there. He loves it and his parents are very pleased with it too.

Does anyone have any travel information about this school? Is their public buses that children can catch?

oshgosh · 24/11/2009 12:17

I'm not quite aure what you are asking: are you asking about buses to the school or to Newport? And buses from where? Are you talking about travelling at either end of term, with trunk in tow, or just talking about getting home for an outweekend?
The school is about a mile from town, down a small road and I would guess that there is not a bus from Newport. It is walkable, but not if you have heavy luggage.
I would recommend speaking directly to the school.
