Unisex toilets in high school

Apparently it lessens the risk of bullying is it really common? (the unisex toilet, not the bullying)

How does it help against bullying?

I'd be surprised if they were even legal. i would have thought each cubicle would have to contain its own washbasin to meet law.

They seem to be legal as it appears to be a new gouvernement guidline It really does not convince me though! (they mignt have several wash bassins I suppose Katiestar.)

Oh god I remember at that age how mortifying it was changing a tampon there is no way I would have been able to if there were boys in the next cubicle. Don't these people have any sense, do they not remember what it is like to be a self-conscious teenager?

not sure I'd like it though, particularly with a teenage girl whose periods have just started
