I have 177 'Higher' Geography papers sitting in the dining room, markers meeting today.

I always appreciate doing it as not currently teaching, but looking at it right now I wonder how I am ever going to get through them all!

Wondered is anyone else marking this year?

2500 responses for Edexcel RE GCSE. 2000 to go.
Living on caffeine, choclate and white sugar. Not sleeping; doing the whole thing on line. It pays for the fees for my MA.

My markers meeting went well but as I have 177 x 2 50 mark essay questions to mark, I am buzzing with the amount I have to do.

OTOH, I got asked today to join the examiners team for next year - so [smug emoticon]

Due in 25th June. If you see me on here, shoot me!

I think about doing this every year especially as I like marking. But I don't think I would feel the same about marking work from students I don't know and it is a lot of work.

God no. I have no life as it is and I'm not anywhere near broke enough to consider it.

Unit A Religion and Life finished, 1500+ answers; start Unit H Religion and Society tomorrow; only 1200+ there!

The end is in sight.
