Hi, last question I promise!!... my DD is trying to find the answer to this question and has found conflicting answers (on the net!).. she is making a model of a church and has just one more thing left to do, the altar. Is it ALWAYS raised (behind the rail) or can it be the same level as the rest of the church? Any advice would be much appreciated!! thanks.

It's normally up at least one step I think.

yes - usually up a little bit - sometimes on a few steps. Not many churches have a rail these days
