Any expressive or performing arts teachers please? Coursework question

DS has lost two piece of coursework he started last year. It's critical analysis of CATS the musical and Summer Loving the song from Grease. He tells me he hasn't got a clue where to start and that his teacher won't help him. Now, I appreciate that she will have good reasons for this, but I'm his Mum and want him to get it done. Have told him I am going to sit with him every night/weekend until he's finished it. He's just adamant he hasn't got a clue so sits there saying he can't do it - which I don't believe. But if someone could get me started with what is being looked for, then I can sit with him and ask him questions and not let him do anything else til he applies himself to this (in all honesty, I think he's written off this subject and just can't be bothered but I hate that attitude). Any help appreciated. Thanks (for listening to the rant even if you can't help!)

Ask him for details of the awarding body and specification and then see if you can look it up on their website.

Alternatively, ask the school. They are there to help.

Hi ScienceTeacher, it's AQA and had already spent hours searching. I could find detailed info for every other subject, not this one. Teacher has finally agreed to tell him again what to do (tho know it's DS's own fault for losing book in first place, not blaming her, she has enough to do!)
