Bumping for you.

I went out with someone who was a pupil here. He turned out to be a most charming and well educated man. Sorry that is the extent of my experience though.

thanks, mrsseanbean. Glad your experience was a positive one!

My neighbour's son nearly went there- in the end the father was posted abroad so he didn't go. He was pretty thick but very good at sports and a nice, well-behaved boy. Apparently the football is v.good there. I think it's the brother school of St.Martha's, where wealthy girls who can't get into St. Michaels end up.

my friends two sons go there. It provides a good all round education. New head is excellent.

Agree with notpushy1. Good for sporty, not academic boys.

I've friends whose sons go to St C: its pastoral care is excellent and the education is impressive. Boys I know from there are very well-rounded, lovely lads.

I too have heard good things about the school from friends whose sons attend it.

You might also be interested to know that they dealt charmingly with us when we withdrew our DS from the entrance exam when he unexpectedly got a place at our first choice state school. They cancelled the test without a murmur, then to cap it all, sent back our payment with a lovely cover note wishing him well at his new school.

I cannot imagine there are many private schools who are so generous.
