How far do you live from your child/ren's secondary school?

And how do they get there?
And the same question but about you when you were at secondary school.
No reason for asking, just interested, after reading an article today.

Dd walks, approx 1/2 mile.
I cycled, about 2 miles.

Dds 10 miles and ds 7 miles - I take them the 1.5 miles to the school bus as it's a dangerous (country) road with no footpath.
Me about 8 miles by school bus.
Ds's school is the nearest one to us - boys' school. Girls' equivalent is the other side of town.
