In which abiotic kingdom does a virus belong in?

Ds1 searching the net but can't find the answer. TIA

Am a Science teacher...never heard of an abiotic kingdom. Kingdoms are plants, animals, bacteria, fungi and protoctista (dustbin group...one where anything that doesn't fit first 4 go!). But all are living organisms...i.e. biotic. Abiotic is non-living. There is argument that viruses are non-living as they have to invade host cells and take over their metabolism to carry out life processes. Sorry not to be more help...will keep thinking.

Abiotic means not alive. Not sure that they are subdivided.

Well, heard of abiotic of course, but not an abiotic kingdom.

Abiotic is the opposite of living, as asymmetric is the opposite to symmetric.

I think he's worded the question incorrectly. It's which kingdom, not which abiotic kingdom. He now thinks it doesn't belong to any kingdom and that's the answer the teacher is looking for. Would that make sense snuffy?
