DD has just got her A levels results - she got 5 As and will be going to Exeter University to do Psychology.

Can't get hold of DH, as he's driving to work, so I have to tell you lot instead!

Rusty - Congratulations to you both. Well done.

What subjects did she do?

I am waiting for DS1's A level Maths result result (taken 2 years early) - I should get it in the post tomorrow. DS is on a sailing course.

GCSE results next week.

Ewe · 14/08/2008 15:58

Congrats to your DD - five that is AMAZING!

Milliways · 14/08/2008 16:34

Congrats Rustygirl Just said hello on the other thread!

I have been walking around at work like a Cheshire cat grinning at DD's 5 A's - but they were AS not A2 level.

Well, one was General Studies, which they all have to do, the others were Psychology, History, Eng. Lit & Eng Lang - DD is interested in the psychology of language, which apparently she can do a module on at Exeter.
Keeping my fingers cfossed for your DCs swedes.
Milliways - it'd be odd if both our DDs ended up at the same uni, with our DSs going to the same school, wouldn't it?
What does your DD want to drop?

mumeeee · 15/08/2008 11:11

Oh my niece is going to Exeter University. I think she is going to do a business degree but not sure, Haven't heard what her results were yet.

Milliways · 15/08/2008 17:12

Rusty - she will probably drop History (but may take up "Critical Thinking" which some schools do instead of General Studies.

Ledodgy · 15/08/2008 17:14

5 As and bloody gorgeous. I bet her friends hate her.

RustyBear · 15/08/2008 18:00
