and I a fairly certain it's a good 'un. But tonight at the open evening when the head gave the parents a lecture about diet, exercise ,sleep etc to help our DCs learn, I have begun to doubt that DS is actually going to cope with the responsibility, work load, home work etc. He struggled with all this in Yr6. How the hell is he going to cope in a bigger school with more work and less close supervision?

Anyone else having a bit of last minut

They do cope, but some take a bit longer than others to get the hang of it! Make sure you get a system going for having the right stuff on the right day, and getting homework done for the right date, so that at least those aren't causing havoc. But in terms of coping while at school, I'm sure the school are used to it and will be accustomed to sending baffled children in the right direction!
