My son is sitting the Dulwich College 11+ next month, and I’d love some advice on the puzzle section. Did your son find it hard to prepare for, and what actually helped?
A teacher at his prep recommended Pretest Plus and suggested that parents could share a subscription, but I’m not sure about it. Has anyone used it, and did it feel similar to the real thing?
We’ve been using Atom, but his results are very volatile. His scores have ranged from 142 to 106 on the same day, so I don’t know how much to read into them. Is this normal? Can anyone recommend anything else?
His school say he could get a scholarship, but he isn’t heavily tutored. From talking to mums at various preps, heavy tutoring seems to be the norm, so I’m wondering whether we’ve done enough.
Does anyone have tips for NVR in particular? It would also be really helpful to know how your son revised in the last few weeks.
