Hi all, does anyone know if a student has been offered a language place despite not answering all the questions on the test? My daughter thinks she got most/all her answers correct but didn’t get the paper finished. Just wondering if she has any chance at all…. Do most girls get the paper finished? Thank you!!

To be honest not really. Looked at a few examples online using sample questions generated by AI. But she got the hang of it and seemed to know what she had to do.

How much did she leave unattempted? Like maths she could score high if she gets full marks on 90% of the paper as against attempting the full paper and scoring 85%. There is a chance she could score well. But there are only 12 places isn’t it? Mine sat but didn’t get a place and no scores so it’s hard to judge.

How do you know she didn't get a place. The test was on Tuesday only. I don't suppose we will be hearing the results for another week or even 2.

My daughter also hasn't completed. She thought she had 1 question remaining still. There were so many girls and only so few places. Which group/slot were you in? We were in the very first 9.15 and it was crowded.
