HPQ- GCSE- 2000 words

Hi,
I am looking for some advice on 2000 words GCSE HPQ research assignment. Is there a specific way to do this? We haven’t received any information yet but it was mentioned by a parent that teachers are not allowed to help students. Also, if the references will be used for scores too. Thank you so much for your response.

I don't know much about this but I presume it is similar to the EPQ often taken alongside A levels? Google suggests as much and notes that it is equivalent to a short-course GCSE (so half a GCSE). It’s a research project so that is the core of the work.

Is your DC about to start work? or have they done the research and need to write it up? If they need advice on how to do it they should ask whoever is leading the project at their school.
