Nonsuch Open day 9 July 26

Is anyone incredibly unimpressed with the Nonsuch open day so far? Asked to register in advance - absolutely no problem! Asked to wear a coloured wrist band to denote entry time even though you have had to book a specific time slot to attend - unexpected but ok.

But to then leave parents and young girls outside in full sun and 32+ degrees heat for 40minutes is really not on despite the time slot stating 3pm - this is really poor and doesn't reflect well on them.

Do they treat their current students/parents like this too?

oh that sounds rubbish, poor you (and the girls!) - standing out in 32 degrees for 40 mins with no explanation is not a good look, especially when they made you book a time slot specifically to avoid that. tbh open day logistics can be really hit and miss and don't always reflect how a school treats its actual students day to day - my dc's open day was a bit chaotic too but they've been great once in. that said it's fair to want reassurance somewhere so oversubscribed, worth asking if any current parents on here can compare it to the day-to-day. hope the rest of your search goes better!
