Can anyone please recommend an user friendly maths apps for GCSE? DC can use on mobile phone or tablet

Examdojo is a website but it works fine on my tablet. I haven't tried it with a phone yet.

Savemyexams is a classic.

Examdojo limits how many questions you can mark on the free tier, savemyexams limits quite a few features to be paid only

Drfrostmaths is completely free but can be a bit clunky. Definitely worth looking at though.

For something user-friendly on a phone or tablet, a couple of the ones already mentioned are solid: Dr Frost is completely free and well worth having open. The one our DS personally got on with best was mathstutor.me. Full disclosure, my DH is a software engineer and built it, so take my recommendation with a pinch of salt, but it's genuinely what worked for us. It covers the whole UK curriculum up to GCSE, runs in a browser on a phone or tablet with nothing to install, and it's gamified with XP, streaks and levels, which is the bit that got our DS opening it without being nagged. The difficulty adapts as they go, so it doesn't sit them on things they can already do or throw them in too deep. There's a free maths assessment on there too that pinpoints which GCSE topics are shaky, so you can aim the practice at the gaps instead of going over everything. The free tier gives 8 exercises a day, which is plenty for daily revision. Honestly the best approach is to have a couple open and let your DC pick the one they'll actually keep using.
