Christs Hospital School for sixth form

Does anyone have a DC there now? I have a very academic DS, and we live in a place with only one state option for sixth form, and it’s not great.
We went to an open day at CH recently, and it looks like it would really suit DS, who would like to spend his days studying classics and debating philosophy. (When I was his age I was sharing a 2l bottle of cider in the park!).
We would need a bursary, and he would go as a day student.
Does anyone have any recent experiences, good or bad, that they could share?

I know a lad that goes there and he really likes it. He’s a fairly quiet and studious lad too.

Do they do bursaries for day students? I thought you had to board to get a bursary?
