KGS 10+ feedback and 11+ chances

Hello, my DD did the KGS 10+ in January. She didn’t pass and we just got the percentile feedback from the school. She only scored 50% percentile in both English and Math. Although she has improved during these past few months, I wonder if a child is just 50% in January is there a chance to jump up to top 15% in autumn or are we too far off?

It sounds doable for sure, about a third of candidates are invited for interviews at 11+, so she only needs to get to the top 30% for next year. 50% sounds like she was a good candidate, others may have been better prepared. There are many who don't pass 10% and pass at 11+, just keep preparing. I wouldn't worry at all.

My DD got rank 5/10 in maths and 3/10 in English (3 being towards the better end - highest score 1). She got an offer at 11+ (alongside all other schools she applied to incl Latymer and G&L). So I wouldn’t worry!
