Hi, just need some guidance on 16+ admission process. I can see that most schools have a deadline in Dec to accept places for the following year. Are these offers conditional upon achieving certain grades in GCSE or solely based on the 16+ assessment process? We applying to SPGS, Westminster, Godolphin Latymer and Putney High any information on this will be very helpful. Thank you.

Hi, my DD applied to both SPGS and Putney High last year and is starting at SPGS in September. I think Putney High gives out conditional offers (needing grade 8s at GCSEs if I remember correctly) and SPGS gives unconditional offers that are based only on the 16+ assessments. Although for SPGS, there is an extremely long assessment progress! Hope that’s helpful.

thank you so much for the info, really appreciate that. So even if we accept the place in Dec (conditional ones ) the place is not guaranteed until the results . Thanks that’s very helpful.
