we are considering CHS for DS. Does anyone have DCs that go there? I would be interested to find out more about it. Is it very competitive? DS is academically able, (he is predicted all 9s for GCSEs, but not at all sporty and doesn’t play any instruments) He loves acting and public speaking.
He is currently at a state school that doesn’t have a sixth form, and our choices locally are poor.
One of main issues I can see is transport. I know the school has its own railway station, but it’s not the same line as us, so despite being within 30 mins by road, it’s a long journey by train. Does CHS have private buses? I tried emailing the school but they haven’t got back to me.
