Late sixth form application

Hi there, no offer on the first round of sixth from applications, any one knows of any late sixth form applications please. Hertfordshire are.

Private, State, A levels, or Vocational?

(I can't help either way but I think this info would be pertinent).

State, but just in case we might need to look at private as well.

Do you know what went wrong? Did you apply to only over subscribed ones? Can Can they stay where they are? If thibking private, habs sixth form is much smaller this year post VAT so definitely worth applying.

He can stay on but it’s also private. We want to move him to state school , he also wants to go to states school. He love playing football and his current one ( private) is small and not many football things going on. Apparently (I mentioned in another post )that the school did not give him an offer as they using mock exams grades which for my son he has a 6 in math which the subject he wants to do but the teacher at current school predicted a grade 7 for him . So a 7 is what the school we applied for wants. So they said his grad are not met . I felt it’s a bit hard as I thought most school use predicted grade to make an offer. I don’t t know how over subscribed this school is. He is my first so this is the first time dealing with school etc.. and sometimes I am not really sure of how things work.
