Loop Ear plugs for an 11 year old at school.

My 11 year old daughter needs to wear Loop ear plugs at school and I was about to purchase them when an additional product was suggested in a pop up - it’s a connector cord to attach to them. It looks like a glasses chain. The pop up mentioned ‘never loose your loops’ or something and it raised a fear in me that my daughter will loose the loops and at £30 + pp - I wanted to know from others if it’s worth getting the connector cord? Does it help to keep them safe? Or indeed does anyone have any suggestions around how to help my daughter to keep them with her after use. When I looked at the connector chain product page it only mentioned using it whilst moving - nothing about keeping them with you so it feels like sneaky marketing tbh. Would appreciate some insight from others whose children use the product and actually return home with them! Thank you.

We don't use the connector as my DC is fine with putting them in the case if he does take them off during the day. I did attach an AirTag to the case though, and it's a lifesaver!
I can recommend buying a spare pair as well.

Not what you asked, but we use the adult Loops but with small sized ear plug attachments as they block more decibels. There's no reason why children shouldn't use the adult ones, and benefit from the larger range.

Same here. She lost the first set 😬

DC uses takes then in their case to school, which is in a pocket in the rucksack.

DH also has them in a case when taking them to work, coldness etc

The cord has only recently been released. I ordered them for DC and DH that both have loop, but they only use the cord when going to things such as events, rather than regular daytime use.

I suppose it will vary from person to person depending on what they are doing when wearing them.

Teenage DC also has the adult one with a smaller ear part.
