Herschel grammar school

Hi my son was given his secondary school allocation yesterday for Herschel Grammar school - To start Sept 2026.
Anyone else's child offered the school? I would be keen to connect as my son is the only one in his year group to have been offered a place.

Congratulation to you child! There don't seem to be many people around MN who send their children to the Slough grammars. There will be lots of children that are the only children from their school. Make sure your child goes to the induction day in June/July and they will meet lots of other children keen to find friends.

Myself, DD and DS all went to grammars ‘on our own’ back in the day and we were all fine. Everyone is in the same boat.

Congrets, that's really good school - this school is amongst top and very competitive.
