Hi there, would like to hear some insights from families who have girls enrolled at Channing. Our DD has an offer from the school for year 7. We got a good vibe when we visited however have heard a few things and we wanted to get a firsthand perspective from families who have girls there.
How have you found the school overall? What are some things you are really happy with? Are there things you wish they did better or could improve on?
As a family we are quite old school in that we prefer learning to be more analog (pen, paper and books) and there’s increasing research to support that it’s better for children but have heard at Channing there’s might be a big push towards using technology and screens for everything from lessons to homework. Is that true in your experience? What share of class work and homework is done on a digital device vs without?
